Our mission is to introduce visitors and residents alike to the wonderful bicycle trail systems that allow us to ride into and around downtown Minneapolis. It is no surprise that in 2010, Bicycling Magazine rated Minneapolis as the number one biking city and we’d like to show you why. As part of our tour, we make sure you are properly fitted with a provided bike and helmet and, along with seeing the sites, we offer tips for more efficient riding techniques.
Regularly scheduled rides take about 2 hr and are approximately 9 miles. The ride schedule is provided in the calendar listing for each month on the home page (see calendar link on top of home page). If you are interested in a private tour, please just call or email us and we will arrange a ride that suits your needs for distance, speed and starting/ending points! Tours start at $39 per person and you can register by calling us at 507 533-5348.
We ask that all children under 16 years be accompanied by a guardian and due to bicycle stock, we cannot take anyone under 4 ft 8 or over 300 pounds. You are welcome to bring your own bike on these tours but ask that you call us first so we can discuss whether your bike is appropriate for these rides.
Bike Tours start at The Soap Factory, Located at 514 Second Street SE, Minneapolis, 55414. This is right downtown on the St. Anthony/east side of the river and it is only 2 blocks up from the Stone Arch Bridge.
We’re extremely pleased to house our bikes in this unique and historical building which is currently home to some of the most promising regional artists:
